Un ricercatore USA ha dichiarato che se sommiamo tutto il debito (governativo , aziendale e personale ) degli USA , questo ammonta a 350 % del PIL , mentre quello deli altri Paesi sviluppati è pari al 440 % ; ed ha affermato che se la percentuale è superiore al 275 % bisogna aspettarsi una crescita limitata ed eventualmente la deflazione .
Non ha detto come si fa a ridurre il debito senza avere una crescita limitata.
